RHA delivered a report on inter-municipal partnership at a meeting of the municipalities in the Eyjafjörður region June 4.
Since 1993 the focus has been on merging the nine municipalities in the region into one large municipality. Despite much efforts, this has not been fruitful and other means of developing the services and administration of the municipalities were needed. This report focuses on the state of services and administration of these nine municipalities and presents recommendations on the possible forms of successful inter-municipal partnerships.
